At Mt Chase Lodge, we believe that eating well means living well. Because of this, our days are dedicated to giving our guests the freshest possible dining experience, with special attention paid to your unique dietary needs.
We want you to feel good about every aspect of your time spent with us. Expect a phone call from us before your scheduled meal. We want to know your likes, dislikes, allergies, and preferences to ensure we give you the best experience possible. We are happy to cater to dietary restrictions and allergies as long as we have advanced notice.
The Guest Experience
We offer a full-service dining experience to those who are looking to join us. We are open May-November & January-March and do our best to offer meals to our in-house guests during this time on Tuesday-Saturday evenings by reservation only. We do have two young children who love to help us in the kitchen, but we appreciate your flexibility as we navigate being business owners and parents.
July & August weather allows us to serve you outside on the water’s edge (weather depending) so you don’t have to miss out on any wildlife action. The loons, beavers, and bald eagles are frequent visitors to our thoroughfare and they never disappoint. If you’re lucky, our resident moose will pay a visit!

Overnight guests may add an Advanced Dinner Reservation to their lodging reservation. We will contact you prior to your arrival to go over your dining plans. This helps us plan our menus & staff schedules. Thank you for thinking ahead!

Each morning guests may choose to join us for a delicous breakfast and relaxing conversation with other guests. Enjoy a hot cup of freshly brewed coffee and a hearty, homemade breakfast to start your day. Breakfasts vary but typically include standard fare such as eggs, bacon and sausage, homemade toast, fresh fruit, oatmeal, french toast, pancakes and Maine maple syrup.
Breakfast is included for guests staying in our lodge suites. Those staying in our private cabins or waterfront townhouse are welcome to join us, for an additional fee.
Public Dining by Reservation
In addition to our regular dinner service, we also offer dining open to the public on select Friday and Saturday evenings during our peak seasons. These nights are always so fun and often sold out during the summer months. Designed for food lovers, these meals are intricately planned out based on our number of guests and what food we can get locally. The menu is typically revealed one week prior to the service. Guests are served at private tables unless otherwise discussed.
Because space is limited, we can only accommodate a few parties each night. Call us with your reservation request as soon as possible and we will confirm with you about one week in advance as we schedule and plan our meal services. We have space for small groups of 2-10 people. Larger groups are encouraged to reserve as early as possible
