Hunting

Mt. Chase Lodge has welcomed hunters and fishermen for over forty years. The remoteness of the area and its diverse habitat means that a skilled sportsman can enjoy a successful hunt or fishing adventure in relative solitude. After a day in the woods or on the waters, settle in next to our fireplace, enjoy a drink or dinner with us, and share stories. You’ll be helping to carry on the tradition of our outdoor heritage.

Grouse Hunting

Ruffed Grouse and Woodcock are plentiful throughout the area. Our dog-friendly cabins are perfect for you and your canine companions, and our cabins are equipped with basic cooking facilities so you can maximize your time outdoors by eating on your own  schedule. If you prefer to have meals cooked for you, please request to have breakfasts or dinners in the lodge.

Deer Hunting

Mt. Chase Lodge has a fantastic group of veteran deer hunters that return each year. These gentlemen have become like an extended family. Book today to join them and take advantage of our deer season special rates.

Moose Hunting

Since Maine began its moose hunting lottery, sportsmen and women have been traveling here to hunt. The wetlands, ponds, and woods in our area support a large moose population that attracts hunters and photographers alike. Please call or email to inquire about our moose hunting rates and packages.
