PET FRIENDLY LODGING

We Enjoy Relaxing with Our Pets, and You Should Too

We are a pet friendly facility and allow guests staying in our Private Cabins to bring their furry friends. Pets are expected to be well behaved and current on vaccinations. For the safety and comfort of other guests (and your pet), pets must be under the owners control at all times. Pet owners will be responsible for the cost of any damage done by their pets.

A few considerations before you arrive:

  • No more than 2 dogs per cabin
  • Dog should be on flea and tick medication.
  • $20 per night per dog charge
  • Dogs should not be left alone in your cabin.

Dogs are not permitted in the main Lodge or on furniture in your cabin.  Dumpster is located next to the garage to clean up after your dog and we kindly ask that you don’t leave any surprises.

While we don’t require your dog to be leashed, please be considerate of other guests. Our dog, Moxie, is a frequent visitor or our cabin guests. Please let us know if you would prefer she doesn’t visit you during your stay. She’s very friendly, but we understand that not all dogs get along.

Private Cabins

Choose from one of four Private Cabins sleeping 2-8 people. All are equipped with full baths, propane or wood heat, and cooking facilities – open year round. Our private cabins are Pet Friendly, allowing you the opportunity to relax and enjoy the wilderness of northern Maine along with your furry friend.

Our cabins do NOT have wifi. We believe that everyday life comes with enough social media and news that it’s nice to have the opportunity for our guests to truly disconnect with technology and reconnect with nature. If you just can’t stay away, you are welcome to come inside the lodge at anytime where you will have access to wifi.

Guest Suites

Our main lodge offers five private Guest Suites, and a lounging and dining area overlooking the water.

You’ll wake up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods in the oven. Breakfast will await you downstairs to fuel your adventure for the day.
