Women's Skills Weekend

March 15th - 17th, 2019

$370 pp. shared room / $420 pp. private room
Rate includes two nights of lodging and meals. Guests will arrive Friday afternoon and depart on Sunday, with breakfasts and activities included on both weekend days.
*Snowmobile rental costs are not included in the registration fee -  these will be the responsibility of the adventurer!

Head north toward Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument and  Baxter State Park for a weekend of winter skill building at Mt Chase  Lodge.

Registered Maine Guides will lead you on snowshoe adventures, teach you basic ice fishing and fish identification, and, if you choose,  give you an introduction to snowmobiling.

We'll rendezvous at the  lodge on Friday afternoon to get settled, get acquainted, and review the weekend schedule over dinner. After breakfast on Saturday we'll explore the local trails on snowshoes (no prior experience needed!).  In the afternoon we will head out to the lake for an ice fishing  clinic, returning in time for hors d'oeuvres and dinner at the lodge.  Adventurers will have the option after Sunday's breakfast to rent  snowmobiles* and head out on the trails with a guide or stay at the  lodge for a guided yoga and meditation practice. Sunday will be capped  off with a hot lunch next to the lodge's fireplace.
